Simex Defence Inc and Otterpack LLC are partnering for the Test the Technology of the Otterpack™ under the MSSPIX ’21 program (Maneuver Support, Sustainment & Protection Integration Experiments 2021).

Simex Defence Inc was awarded a contract of 1.7 millions of Canadian Dollars by the Canadian Department of National Defence, for the supply of Pratt & Whitney Gas Turbine Engine, with all external engine control components installed (including Fuel Control, Propeller Control, Over speed governor, Ignition module, Fuel divider, Fuel Nozzles and Bleed valve).

In March 2019, Simex Defence Inc was appointed as the Sales Partner for Canada for Scientific Management International (SMI), to provide local technical and commercial support in Canada

In this regard, Simex decided to recruit a Contract Manager.
Marc Bako will be responsible for the Purchasing and Customer Dept.
As the new Contract Manager of Simex, Marc will be supporting the Sales Department with pre-contract negotiation, contract review and acceptance with Suppliers and Customers. He will be ensuring that client’s requirements are accurately flowed-down and efficiently communicated to potential vendors and understood by them. He will be verifying that they will have sufficient information in order to ensure their full capacity to supply to Simex the products expected by the client. He will set-up a contingency plan in order to avoid any shortage or disruption of supplies, empowering Simex in providing high quality of products and services, upon full satisfaction of client’s need.
He will be coordinating contracts within Simex, from sales to shipping, passing through review, purchasing and quality department, and the technical validation prior recommending the approval of the release of the PO and the approval of the contract.
He will also be coordinating with Quality department, Logistics and Warehouse to ensure the full resolution of any technical issues with the client and the potential vendor prior authorizing the shipment of the Goods to Simex and / or to the client
Marc Bako, in his previous employment, was a procurement specialist with many years of good experience in Strategic Sourcing / Supply Chain Management, contract negotiation & execution.
He speaks 5 Languages and has an M.Sc Degree in Engineering and an MBA Degree as well as ENS International Certified in Effective Negotiation & Influencing,
